Some students have experienced problems
while loading the Sample CAT.
We concluded that the majority of
the problems reported by students concerned the Flash player version they
had installed, because it was not the one required. The following
step-by-step instructions
will help you to uninstall your current Flash player and then install the
latest one from Macromedia Website.
- Click here to download the Flash Player Uninstaller for Microsoft Windows.
(If you use Mac OS X instead, click here. If you use Mac OS 8.x, 9.x, click
here.)
- When the pop-up window appears, choose to save the file in your hard disk.
Make sure you remember where you're going to save it, because
you'll need to know it later.
- When the download is finished, go to the folder where you saved the file
and double-click it. The unistall program will be launched and all
you have to do is click on "Next" until the program tells you
the Macromedia Flash Player was completely removed.
- Click here to go to the Macromedia Flash Player Install page. There you'll
find all the instructions you'll need to install the most recent version
of the Flash player.
- When you see the Macromedia logo playing, it means that your installation
was successful. Now you're ready to try the Sample CAT again.
